Nestled in a cliff inside which the church has been built, Peyre overlooks the Tarn River after Millau.

The Saint Christophe Church has been fortified during the 17th century to shelter the inhabitants of Peyre and now welcomes concerts and exhibitions and displays outstanding light thanks to the stain glasses. The church also gives an wonderful vista on the highest bridge in the world: the Viaduc de Millau.

What to discover?

Église semi-troglodytique St-Christophe : free visit everyday from 8 to 6 PM from July to September.
Village : guided visit from July 1st to september.
