At the foot of the hills, the village is surrounded by the mighty forest of the Vosges.

An archaeological site on the upper part of the village is host to 1st, 2nd and 3rd century gallo-roman remains. In the village, the priory and the church are typical of the 18th. , such as their furniture and their baroque statues. The organ is a historical monument. The fountain is said to be miraculous and to cure skin diseases. A bit off the village, the glassmakers’chapel owns popular art vitrals that remind of the traditional activity in the 15th.
